Bush Vetch
Vicia sepium

This shot was taken just outside a small village called Widley in Hampshire. A fairly common vetch. The leaflets have a distinctive 'egg' shape and the flowers often have a grubby appearance. They can be found in meadow grassland, hedgerows and by car parks. Their flowers are blue-purple and appear April-November.
